aaronhead14
Hello there, So a friend of mine just bought the MSI FX700-056US Core i5 notebook (the exact specs here: http://tinyurl.com/msislpc1 ), and we planned to do a dual boot of Snow Leopard and Windows 7. However, I can't get my retail 10.6.3 disc to make it to the GUI no matter what I try. I used the tonymacx86 ##### method and have had zero success. I was even loading darwin using -v and -x, and all it would do is go through many many lines of code or whatever and then freeze, and then shut down the computer. I'm kind of a noob at this, so I'm probably just doing something wrong. but i just cant figure it out. Is my hardware just incompatible? When i looked through the specs i didn't notice anything in particular that i didn't think would have a problem running in OS X. Any help would be appreciated, so thanks a ton. -Aaron
