Instipod
Hello, I have a MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 Motherboard with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.70GHz Dual-Core Processor. What method can I use to get Snow Leopard running on my PC. I own a copy of the retail install dvd. Do I need a boot CD or do I need to burn a patched image to DVD? Thanks, Instipod Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/254661-booting-help-on-msi-k9n6pgm2-v2-motherboard/ Share on other sites
hispanico79
y have a motherboard K9N2GM FIH and cpu athlon dual core x64 3 ghz 6000+ y tried from two year to install snowleopard from dvd original and y follow insanely mac forum thread but y' m not installed on my computer because the dvd doesn' t boot, y have tried with a partition with leopard ideneb or ipc but the dvd original when y select alt+shift+G and a have mounted the image of dvd of snowleopard and y write /MAC OS X Install/System/Packages/ OSinstall.mpkg does not run the installation, it' s blocked, y' ve tried with the cd-boot but snowleo does not boot and the cpu turn off, y think that MSI or AMD have got some restrictions to install snowleo by this cpu or motherboard. Y have installed leopard from 10.5.1 to 10.5.8 with any troubleshooting. But snowleo is very hard.
