CraigKC
I'm a very experienced PC tech/engineer but new to trying to get OSX installed. I've lurked, searched, and tried for days every tutorial, boot, and BIOS setting and I can't even get the OSX 10.6.3 install past a ACPI KP right off the bat. My error is the "unable to find driver for this platform" ACPI KP that I seem to find plenty of people talking about, but most of them I find are dated in 2009. I can't tell if I need to follow that info since it seems so old (old Chameleon releases, old kernel extensions, broken links to old tools, etc) Can someone at least point me in the right direction? I don't mind putting plenty of work and research in but I'm just blown away that I can't even get the install to start. I've started researching DSDT and XPC UEFI-Boot stuff but feel like I'm going in the wrong direction... ?
