Hi Andy, thanks for the reply - i have disabled this and also removed the nvenabler.kext but i still get the same problem with not booting from hddd just stalls at apple screen with a stop sign - still can boot from #####

Hi Guys

Just thought i would share some more information regarding the specs of the pc i have

The original model was an Advent T9509 - I have just updated the bios on the Foxconn website to the latest version but now i see just after post screen i ge the following message and was wondering if it had anything to do with no booting from hdd only #####

"Controller not set for operating in AHCI mode

"AHCI Bios not installed"

I never has this before the bios update but looks like i have flashed over the advent bios with the Foxconn version

Does anyone have any ideas regarding this as im at my wits end now :(

Any replies would be greatly apriciated

Kind Regards

Hi!

Try to use latest ##### cd to boot from os x drive and then with ##### (latest version too) follow this options to make HDD bootable : http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/03/how...ality-from.html

DONT FORGET TO CHECK THE OPTIONS ACCORDING YOUR GRAPHICS CARD BRAND!!!!

After that try to boot again from hd.

I had similar problems to because OS X boot is very fragile when some kext is missing...It´s very easy to make the boot get stucked...

So if you can boot from ##### cd the best choice is to make HDD booting like #####.

After that you can edit com.apple.boot.plist (EXtra folder) and make it boot 64 bit...and with timeout for chamelon...
