tawelton
Hey all, I've been trying to turn a spare AMD machine into a hackintosh using Hazard's Snow Leopard distro. The Sata HD in the computer already has Windows XP and I have a box full of old IDE HDD's. I have been trying to install Snow Leopard on a spare IDE drive for a few hours, but the installer does not recognize the hard drive, the drive shows up in XP, however. The installer immediately recognizes the SATA drive in Disk Utility, but the other will not show up whatsoever. I've tried leaving the SATA disconnected and changing settings in the BIOS and using different IDE drives. Do I need to add kexts to the install DVD or something? I don't have much experience with kexts...
