Dellmantt
Boot verbose and post a picture. Could be anything, might be something simple like wrong sleep enabler. These are the error returns. Looks like it has something to do with the wireless-card. Not sure how to disable it and get it to boot. bin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/253868-accidental-1067-update-and-now-panic-screen/#findComment-1664840 Share on other sites
Dellmantt
Looks like it. Try booting in safe mode and removing the kext or remove in single user mode. I booted into safe mode and I will read through the threads here on the airport troubles with 10.6.7. Was looking at your tag; you don't happen to have sleep enabled on that system do you? ...be nice to sort that after the wireless barring no other nasty surprises. bin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/253868-accidental-1067-update-and-now-panic-screen/#findComment-1664879 Share on other sites
bin23
Update : I used both kext from this blog: http://blog.nawcom.com/?p=630 I also had to re-add my card to the plist of the IO kext. My device was pci168c,13. My wireless is working again and the machine now can go to sleep. Thanks again and I hope this helps someone. Thanks to Nawcom for posting his kexts. bin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/253868-accidental-1067-update-and-now-panic-screen/#findComment-1664949 Share on other sites

protonus
Try with the following parameters at boot. -v pmVersion=0 and see if that works, if that works then you know that it has to do with the SleepEnabler.kext that is installed on your machine from the 10.6.7 install. You might need to add pmVersion=0 into your com.apple.Boot.plist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/253868-accidental-1067-update-and-now-panic-screen/#findComment-1665401 Share on other sites
bin23
Thanks for the reply protonus, the problem was with the driver library and my wireless card. I installed the kexts from my previous post and not all is working and I also have sleep enabled.
