i have Siemens Amilo pr v3515 , the first installation iDeneb 10.5.6 the sound works very well with Azalia audio but I had a connection problem, so I bought a new wireless card broadcom and my pc has detected the wireless card, but the sound does not work anymore ??? ,I repeated the installation several times but still the same problem , I have checked if there was a hardware problem and I formatted my pc and win7,linux works fine with audio .

 

Now when I install azalia audio. I have no sound and I have this message in my device manager no audio built. I repeated the installation and i chose all ALC , the message was changed with this informations :

I was able to retrieve information from my sound card with win7:

 

VIA VT8237A/8251 High Definition Audio Controller

Have you tried reinstalling your old wireless card, and then seeing if the audio works again? I'm not familiar with this problem myself, but very strange.

Thanks for your reply , i tried a new installation with old card wifi but no audio , very very strange :-/ i just have No Built-in Audio.

 

and i tried voodoo and fix for azalia
