hi os benders

im trying to install snow on this dell studio 1557 laptop

here are the spec :

Intel Core i7 720QM

Intel P55 chipset

4GB DDR3-1333

ATI HD4570 512MB

1920x1080px wide screen

realtek ethernet stuff

Dell wireless 1397 WLAN

ive already installed leopard using ideneb

but it doesn't work so good with display (bad resolution, no 3d acceleration, etc...)

now ive just saw there that this graphic card works fine with qe/ci on snow :

so i'm trying to install snow leopard

on a new partition together with leopard, linux and windows 7

i'm using myhack and a 10.6.3 retail dvd

http://prasys.info/2010/07/new-myhack-v1-13-released/

installation succeeded with not much problems using usb key

but i cant get my new snow system to boot :

im trying with Empire EFI v 1.085 R2

-v -x flags

it seems i dont need a patched kernel

From what I read, 10.6.2 already add support for Intel Core i7 CPU

it ends up saying

FakeSMC: key info not found MSDS, length - 6

DSMOS has arrived

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(ressourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out

same problem occures even through i removed snow /s/l/e/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext

and installed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

(i copied this file in snow s/l/e/ then i use pfix from leopard on snow)

cant get the point !? any help would be appreciated ....
