My build: Gigabyte X 58A-UD3r Rev 2.0 I7 950 @ 3.06 ghz 12 gb Kingston ddr3 ram @1333 mhz Ati radeon 5770 1 tb Western digital black caviar Sata optical drive --- What i've tried: i set my bios to ahci mode where available and h pet 64 bit. i used 4 gb of ram. I connected the HDD and the optical drive in sata 2 and sata 3, but nothing changed. --- I used [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 2.7, and when i pressed enter after inserting os 10.6.3 retail, it stucked in apple's screen, without any animation. i've booted using -x, -v, PCIRootUID=1 (all sort of combination), but nothing; when i've booted in verbose mode, it stucked in this part: ---- also i've booted with Empire Efi 1.085. With this bootloader i could get to the language selection screen, but when i chose language, the following message appeared: please help! Kivaz. Beersponge Posted March 28, 2011 Share Posted March 28, 2011 Hi Kivaz, Although I have the Rev 1 version of your motherboard, I also had a lot of problems even getting to the Install screen using most of the bootloaders out there until I stumbled across Nawcom's OSX86 ModCD. I don't know if it will help you, but it's the only one that will work with my X58A-UD3R Rev 1 and Radeon HD 4850 combo. No matter what i try, a message appears when entering SL that says that i have to turn of the computer and then On. Thanks for your aid, but can you make my day and tell me how did you manage to boot from the HDD?
