SuperGeoff
Hi, I've search the forum for an answer but didn't find anything that solves my problem. Here is my spec: HP G62-a45sf ACPI x64 Based - PC : CPU: AMD K10 Athlon II P320 Dual Core Mainboard: HP-143C ( 785GX Chipset ) Memory: 4Go DDR3 I'm currently not able to boot in any OSx86 ISO I tried: iPC then Leo4all and then Hazard. I've tried several flags mix : plateform=acpi, cpus=1, arch=i386, -f, -x, -v alway got the same kernel panic right after the setup's boot : ACPI: System State [S0 S3 S4 S5] (S3) Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0 Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies) com.apple.driver.AppleAFCIPort(1.1.0)@0x... dependency.com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.4.1)@0x... dependency.com.apple.iokit.IOACIFamily(1.0.4)@0x... com.apple.iokit.IOAHCIFamily(1.0.4)@0x... BSD process corresponding to current thread: kernel_task Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.5.0 [...] Voodoo; Release 1.0 Or depending on the ISO Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0 [...] ToH... etc... Is there anything I can do to be able at least to boot into the setup, see what it looks like? Thanks in advance for any advices. Have a nice day ! WurstwasserV
Try to boot with a retail Snow Leopard DVD and the NAWCOM Boot CD, that would be my best advice for you, but as you might know AMD Chipsets arent that good for Hackintosh, but it could work.
