Hello,

I am new to OSX and just managed to install 10.6 with #####.

I did run #####, but that defaults me to no-sound 1024x768.

My hardware is Asrock Conroe1333-DVI/H with a E2180 and on board graphics.

The system is running quite nice, but I would like to have sound and other than 1024x768 screens after booting from HD.

I found some threads on GMA950 issues, but so far only managed to damage my system.

Would someone please review how to customize a Asrock Conroe1333-DVI/H E2180 system for SL?

Many thanks!

PS: Falls jemand eine deutsche Anleitung hätte, wärs optimal.

Thanks for the pointer! Good to hear about DSDT Editor. Unfortunately it runs into an error, if I try to "compile" the patch. I thought I followed the video, but no success.

Edit: The errors are " 3993 Object does not exist (DTGP)"

and a couple of warnings "4408 - 4484 Possible operater timeout is ignored"

Do you think you can make any sense of that?

I might try your kext later, I made a CCC the other day.

Thanks for your attention!

If it was a "Length error" read pages 18-19-20 of t DSDT Editor thread. Other than that, can't help you need a DSDT guru (Maldon)

Other than that, there is a patched Framebuffer Kext on my Guide page.
