mmk
Equinox has a new version of MediaCentral: MediaCentral 2. With major improvements and addons, it's really cool. The only drawback: it runs only for 5 minutes; you have to buy it to run it fully. Any *cough* serial, anyone? bulls96
Hi. I am new here. Joined this forum because I am also looking for a HTPC set-up for my Powerbook G4. Currently hooked it up to a 22-inch widescreen LCD and I really like it Looks like a Mac Mini when setup with my wireless keyboard and mouse. I have found to like MEDIACENTRAL very much... but i have been doin some *cough*in myself... currently couldnt enjoy the IP TV and RADIO features that much... Still lack the know-hows to make a Hackintosh and run Front Row... being a new convert to Mac just 2 months ago with this Powerbook So i am pretty stuck on Mediacentral not that im complaining it does everything i need... play my azureus files, play my itunes playlists, display my photos and iphoto, play some games... I wish i could get the trailers to work though... that would be awesome! Takuro
Eh not quite my cup of tea. I'll stick with Front Row. This thing feels so... eck. The over-all design sucks and the youtube and google video features are extremely crude. It looks like the "IP-TV" area just sends you to full-screen web pages. Democracy player at least integrates things better. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25321-new-mediacentral/#findComment-308654 Share on other sites
