yeah i was having that same problem.

 

1) make sure the hard drive you are trying to install osx on is in the right slot (with the rear vents facing away from you)

 

2) make sure there is not another hard drive in the left slot

 

3) follow this tutorial TO A 'T' ---> follow this post

 

I've read a lot where people say that you can't have more than 4gb ram in during the install but I installed it fine with 8gb
