I've been reading:

http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=1753

guide for patching the DVD and installing it. It says that you have to install OS X first before you can install Windows XP. Is it possible to install OS X on a empty 3GB partition... with existing 10GB windowsXP (FAT 32) and 45GB partition NTFS - leaving the windows XP parititons untouched?

If not then how can I setup MAC OS X x86 installer so that I can get 7GB for Windows XP, 5GB for MAC OS X, and the rest remaining for Windows NTFS archive?

Well, I did it the hard way. I backed up my 60GB HD from the laptop. Then I installed MAC OS X x86 following that guide above, for dual boot.

I created 2 partitions. I selected the 2nd (bottom, last) partition and changed that to 8GB for MAC OS X Journal System. The first, top partition I selected free space.

I hope that in this free partition I can use Windows to make 2 partitions, one for WinXPSP2, and the rest as a NTFS archive of MP3s and videos.

Will this work? I'll let you know.

PS: ONE THING, when I used Xplode's guide to install the DVD I was presented a installation options of "what to install". When I installed using the patched DVD guide I don't recall ever being asked "what to install". Anyway, hope the default install was alright. How can I install MORE, or ALL from the DVD that can be installed?
