Dj Dean Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 hi i'm having problems trying to install OSX 10.6.3 on my toshiba C660D notebook. it has Dual-core AMD Athlon™ II X2 P360 Processor and ATI Radeon HD 4250 Graphics. i have tried running the bootcd from a amd guide on this forum and the empire efi bootcd and nawcom bootcd but all the boot cds freeze at ACPI: System State [s0 S3 S4 S5] (S3). i tried changing the sata controller mode from ahci to ide mode in the bios as well but still freezes at the acpi part. anyone any ideas Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/252823-toshiba-c660d-osx-install/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dj Dean Posted March 22, 2011 Author Share Posted March 22, 2011 tried another bootcd and got this screen EDIT.. typed in GraphicsEnabler=No and managed to get to the grey screen with apple logo but there is no spinning wheel tried -v -x arch=i386 cpus=1 graphicsenabler=no .. but nothing works. has anyone encounterd this error before or know what it means installed osx on my amd athlon x2 pc before and it ran fine.. so i'm rather stumped.. just wondering if its a problem with the graphics. sata is set to ahci also Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/252823-toshiba-c660d-osx-install/#findComment-1659255 Share on other sites More sharing options...
