gaylord_66 Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 hi! i am trying to get my radeon 9600 pro installed, i have a nforce 3 and i am following the guide which is found at the 10.4.6 wiki... the only thing i need to do the is the IOPCIFamily.kext from 10.4.3, which i cant find anywhere, and the place where the pirates surf, cant get it from there either. so if someone could be kind enough to send it to me: gaylord_66 (at) lycos.com thx! p.s.: you can also attach it here or post me a link whatever Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gaylord_66 Posted August 20, 2006 Author Share Posted August 20, 2006 thx a lot guys! but now after i installed callisto, mac os wont boot. usually after all the white text, when the ethernet thingee was loaded, my desktop appeared, but it doesnt do that anymore... the callisto bit is being loaded just fine i think EDIT: It still boots in VMWARE, what do i have to change to get it to work? EDIT2: Ah what the hell, i am going to reinstall tomorrow... anybody got an idea were to get the 10.4.6 to 10.4.7 update? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gaylord_66 Posted August 23, 2006 Author Share Posted August 23, 2006 thx mate, but i already found it my self at the green demon i am running 10.4.7 as we speak, and i switched back to my geforce 6600GT, which might not run QE and stuff, but it supports my native resolution without hassle, and for 3d acceleration i am just hoping that the macvidia guys will finish their new driver sometime....
