Alexander F.
Hi everyone, I have a problem with my laptop (HP Pavillion dv7-4073cl). I installed 10.6.3 Retail with ##### and then used this guide (http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=7181&hilit=5650) to get the Graphics running. When I boot with GraphicsEnabler=N it works, but without QE/CI and on 1024x768. But when I run it with GraphicsEnabler=Y AtiConfig=Eulemur it shows up like this (check attachment). Thanks for your help Alexander

Devout
You need to add your device id to ati5000.kext. It's in System/Library/Extentions Find out your device ID, via some windows or google for instructions of how to find out the device ID from mac. For this card follow the Graphics Cards -> ATI Section.

Guest ^Andy^
My device ID is already there ... (0x68c11002) Looks like you need to do the following.. Boot using GraphicsEnabler=No Google around and find and install a program called ScreenresX Use ScreenresX and set your screen resolution to 1366x768 for your laptop screen and save it Reboot and use GraphicsEnabler=Y I found that info by searching these forums btw - full thread is here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=250905

Your screenshot shows a screen which will not change using current settings, that screen you cannot fix with ScreenresX, you need to edit and muck around with custom personalities, go read mucha's guide, bcc9's guide and do a bit of reading through the ATI sections, there is lot's of info to read.
