Punter Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 Ok, I've got 'MacOSX_10.4.6DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso' burnt to dvd, I've made a 10gb partition on a logical drive, I've restarted saying 'boot from cd-rom' and it just loads up windows. Where have I messed up here? I'm at a loss here with ideas. Help me out please! Are you sure you haven't burned the file "MacOSX_10.4.6DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso" to the DVD instead of the contents of the iso? If you mount the DVD in Windows, you should see some "boot" files, but you won't see any of the OSX files because Windows can't read the HFS+ formatted part. I'm gonna shove another ide h/d in tomorrow, is it worth doing the whole install of osx on that?
