I have an XC CUBE EZ915 which looks exactly the same as yours, but has the intel 915G chipset in it. They do look nice.

Everything bar the Gigabit Lan works on mine. Integrated video works with Core Image and Quartz Extreme as well as the usual DVI adapter through the PCI Express port, running on an old Apple Cinema Display (via an ADC to DVI converter).

iSync and an Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse work, through the Apple recommended D-Link DBT-120 usb adapter. I also have the use of a Shuttle SB83G (more or less the same spec) and that works just the same too. Firewire seems to work well in both systems fine except for controlling DV Cameras in iMovie or Final Cut Pro 4. I would advise not trying the firewire to firewire network option (or apples target disk mode).....it nearly blew out the firewire chipset on mine.

Hey...

I although own an EZ65 and it works nearly perfect :D (i pluged another network card in it B) .

Is the Intel Extreme2 the 865 chip, because i can only share 32 MB? I took the Vendor and Device ID from XP and put it in the 830 kexts... Now the card runs with 1280x1024 and QE. But often when it starts, the screen crashes with big blocks etc... I have to restart with -x and then change the resolution, from that point it works fine again. Is there an solution, witch driver do you use??

My System works fine with:

• Toshiba HL DVD-Burner (burns fine)

• Printer HP PSC950 (printing, copying yes – scanning not)

• Typhoon Bluetooth with Siemens SX1 and iSync (Sync Adresses fine, ical sync crashes)

• Fuji 4800 (iPhoto starts if i connect the camera and imports pictures)

I also have a EZ65 X-cube. And after I installed the MacOSX, I found that not only the Giga Lan card on board, but also the audio card on board could not work! Would you pls tell me how to get my audio card work? Thank you very much.

By the way, does the on-board video card works perfectly on MacOSX system? I installed a Ati 9550 video card in my X-cube, when I installed MacOSX, the system just setup the video card as a VESA2.0 card, and runs with 1024x768@60. If I use the card onboard, can I get better performence? For example, runs with 1024x768@85?

For the audio:

Guys its kinda of a weird solution I read it somewhere but it worked for me.... when you boot up from the bios press the del key... enter setup

goto integrated periperpherals and UNCHECK (disable) USB keyboard autodetect

that worked for me

usb keyboard/mouse still work but if you have dual boot you will have to change everytime...

it nearly blew out the firewire chipset on mine.

:) thanks for the info in advance lol...

i think you made a mistake and might have deleted the wrong kext... if you moved it and still have it just double check its the right one....since i do not have this problem (you shouldnt with an intel onboard video)

instructions were posted here Intel Graphics how to

Hey and rigtht!

I made a mistake, i left more than just mine Vendor-ID in the kext. Now i changed that in the 830 kext files and it seems to work fine (we will se ;-) Only QE is not activated, but i think it works before i changed the files. I have to check that...

Thanks until here...
