zorgcry Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 I 've just installe mac osx 10.4.6 jas on my vaio laptop sz1m/b.I didn't have any troble during installation, but know I have problem with devices such video resolution(i have a 1280*800 but it doesn't go further 1024*678),audio (it doesn't recognize any audio device), ethernet ..... my configuration (on linux) is: controller:intel 945 graphics: nvidia geforce go 7400 128 mb ethernet: marvell yukon 88e8036 fast ethernet controller screen: 13.3" wxga-xblack audio: hda intel sigmatel stac7661 wireless: intel prowireless 3945abg interface: 1 x IEEE 1394 (FireWire) - FireWire 4 pin ¦ 1 x Audio - input - jack da 3,5 mm ¦ 1 x Audio - output - jack stereo da 3,5 mm ¦ 1 x duplicatore di porte / docking ¦ 1 x rete - Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX - RJ-45 ¦ 1 x display / video - VGA - D-Sub HD 15 pin (HD-15) ¦ 2 x Hi-Speed USB - USB Tipo A 4 pin ¦ 1 x modem - linea telefonica - RJ-11 card reader: memory card SD, Memory Stick, xD-Picture Card intel 82801 pci bridge ich7 family (usb and pci series of controllers) I hope somebody (if it is possible) has suggestions on how to fix this problem.Thank you very much Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25223-vaio-sz1mb-configuration/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried some guide taken fom othrer topics but nothing to do. with nvidia driver my mac freeze on boot logo and still I don't have any sound card recognized. I can try to modify appleHda.ketx but I still don't understand wich model my sigmatel correspond;I mean what stack 7661 refers to?I don't have windows so I can't retrieve informations from it. And what about ethernet card? Please give me any help!!!!! I installed mavnvidia and everything seems ok(I can change resolution and put 1280*800). for ethernet I will read post you gave me and I will tell(hope everything ok) What can I do for audio instead? I read many post but nothing about sigmatel stac7661 only 9220 e 9223.Also on sigmatel site there is nothing about stack 7661.This is most important thing after video!!!
