gaylord_66
hi there i have actually managed to install mac os x 10.4.6 with jas patched iso, and i even applied the patch which supposedly resolved the b0 error. i reinstalled for like 4 times and now everything is working out of the box: my realtek LAN, my onboard audio and my mx518 and the keyboard both with PS/2. now the problem is, i can't change my resolution, so i figured i had to install one of the macvidia drivers. so i grabbed the latest one's and i did as the readme said: just drag em into the extensions folder and move the IODRVSupport thingee out of the extensions folder. then i rebootet and everything was f***ed up. mac os wouldt boot, always some error with: 56 system starter tfp failed on 0... so what i am doing right now is reinstalling mac os x with vmware on my IDE drive, can anybody tell me how to actually install these drivers? i did look on the macvidia forums on the guide, but i dont know if the guide is for the newest release, and there is supposed to be an installer, but i understand it had a bug and is being rewritten and not being released yet.... any help would be much appreciated here are my system specs: Gigabyte K8-NSC 939 (Nforce 3 250GB) 1 GB RAM (Dual-Channel) Club 3d GeForce 6600 GT Realtek LAN PS/2 Mouse/Keyboard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25193-nvidia-graphics-driver-confusion/ Share on other sites
