Please help - 10.4.6DVDPATCHED_Myz errors half way

Please help - i'm trying to install using the MacOSX_10.4.6DVDPATCHED_Myz -

 

I can create an OSX partition no problem using disk utility and erase it using extended journalled.

The install starts off fine and the base system installs.

 

However, once i get to "Essentials" it stops about 20% in and returns the error 'Please try Installing Again'.

 

I have clicked customize at the install page and have only selected the AMD update and Maxusss options.

 

I am running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (Manchester) [CPUID shows both SSE2 and SSE3. this is on a NVIDIA nForce4 chipset. Bios is an XPC Shuttle (6.00 PG).

 

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. Can anyone help out here..
