Cosmin Traistaru Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Hello everyone, I'm new to mac, I recently got my hands on the kexts i needed for my hardware and I installed 10.6.6. I installed it from a retail DVD with 10.6.6 combo update, installed with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url](Chameleon 2.0 RC5) Everything seems to work ok, it does not feel fast BUT 1.Browsers crash every time I open sites like adobe.com, youtube.com, gmail(after I log in). I updated flash, shockwave and java and safari, but did not work What should I do? Do I need to install other kexts for somthing I miss? Two more things : 2. In Mac App Store all the icons(from programs) reload when I move my mouse. 3. I can not make Chameleon to boot into my Windows 7 HDD, it displays all my 3 partitions from the win7 hdd, but when I select the partition with windows and hit enter i get : missing MBR. If I unplug the SL hdd everything is ok. My System : Asus P5P43TD Motherboard(installed DSDT) Q8300 2.5GHz - SL sees Xeon 2.5 - working Sapphire Radeon HD4650 1GB(installed ATI 4600 kext)-working Kit Dual Channel Kingston 4GB (2 x 2048 MB), DDR3, 1333MHz -working C-Media Sound(installed CM8788~kext)- working PS2 Keyboard (PS2 Vodoo kext) -working Atheros L1E (installed kext)- working IDE HDD for Snow Leopard(installed something from [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] for JMicron ATA)-working SATA HDD for Windows 7 IDE DVD-RW -working Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
