help with installing any OS x versions

HI. I am having a bit of a problem... i am trying ¬to install any or the most compatible version of OS x on my. HP touchesmart 300-1007. i have an all-in-one touch smart 300-1007 i have tried to install ICP 10.5.6 and i seems to work, and starts to install, until hall way it cancel’s.

I have also tried ideneb v1.4/10.5.6 and that just freezes on the verbose screen. Ok so my questions are

 

What kind of dvd do you need +R or –R

 

If anyone knows how to install this on the computer i have please post I am not illiterate. Any help, I am open to options or answers…I think i more or less need HELP ON what to pick when in the customize section of the OS x installation…the specs to my computer.
