I'm trying to install JaS 10.4.8 on my PC. I previously installed and got kalyway 10.5.2 working, but I decided that Tiger would run better on it as it has lower requirements.

The booting of the installer gets stuck at the line:

"BSD root: disk1s3, major 14, minor 6"

Anyone know how I can get to the installer?

Hi, try to tweak the BIOS settings and if nothing works, try an external DVD drive.

If this still fails, install on another computer on this harddrive and then swap.

Good luck
