Intel DP55KG - Core i5 760

8Gb RAM (2X 4Gb)

2 HD Seagate 1Tb each

EVGA GTS 450 SC

I bought this machine intending to install Mac OS. I bought the 10.6.3 Retail version and there is no way I can install it. Neither with Boot 132 nor with #####.

I changed in BIOS - SATA for AHCI, but this HPET I haven't found where to change it to 64bits. I removed one of my HD, leaving just one, removed one of the 4Gb RAM, likethe orientations I read. ##### starts the MacOS DVD, but I get stuck in that grey screen with the apple and the spinning wheel. I tried -x, PCRootUID=1, separetaly and combined, nothing changed. Then I tried putting -v and the last message was always "Still waiting for root device". I tried to unable firewire and some other stuff. Once, before this "still waiting message, I got:

Waiting on <dict ID="0"><key> IOProviderClass</key><string ID="1"> IOResources</string><key> IOResource Match</key><stringID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict>

What can I do, for God's sake?

Thanks in advance

Bruno

Update about my situation:

I tried with this boot CD:

http://blog.nawcom.com/?p=446

At least my drive was detected and I could do the installation. After the instalation ended, the system rebooted. With no CD or DVD in my drive, the system starts to read and I get the grey screen with the apple and the spinning wheel... And then I get the message from the Mac OS telling me to restart the system.

At least I could install, but it seems the instalation doesn't complete successfully.

If I try to start the system with -x and -v I get:

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitforServe(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement)timed out

then appears:

DSMOS has arrived

and there it stops

The funny is I tried to install again, doing exactly the same I did when it worked, and I can't. I really need to get this working ;)
