HWTsai Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Greeting! i m a very new user of Hackintosh and just successfully install iDeneb 10.5.7 on my PC. Everything seemed to work great except for one thing : I m unable to connect to my Samba server via Desktop or smb://192.168.10.10 (using Ctrl+K). I can see my samba server via Finder -> SHARED -> Samba Server, but when I click "Connect As..." button, nothing happen. Usually a window will pops up and ask for authentication, but not in my case here. there is NO place to enter my username and password. The status informs me that "Connection Failed. But i can access that server via Terminal using smbclient command and do ssh command. Any idea why? Sorry for my English. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sensemilla Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Maybe it could help troubleshooting if you let take us a look to Console logs form samba, kernel and system.
