johnwilliamson2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Hi everyone, recently installed osx86, everything works perfect apart from audio, i have a p35cds3r, with a alc889a and a nvidia 210. when i go on the sound it says no inputs and also says hdmi out? i believe i need to disable the hdmi controller on my graphics card for the alc889a to work. It could be a conflict between HDMI and onboard audio controller, but if you have installed just ALC drivers the onboard output should be in use, or usable, I had the opposite problem, I didn't have my HDMI audio output detected by OS X. Renegade_Mtl Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 I have the exact same problem, have you tried remocing the video card and running in vesa?
