maximilian298453
I'd like to apologize right off for what is probably a failure of my search skills. I've been working the kinks out of my new HTPC hackintosh installation but have been unable to find anything useful (well to this newbie anyway) about how to get my Sparkle 9500GT graphics card up and running. I tried a couple basic things on my own (GraphicsEnable & NVenabler) but they didn't do the trick. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful. My system: Gigabyte G41M-ES2L motherboard v 1.4 Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU 2 GB RAM Sparkle 9500GT 1GB graphics card Installed via ##### and retail Snow Leopard DVD (10.6.3), then used combo update to 10.6.6 and #####. Thank you very much. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/250008-direction-needed-for-sparkle-9500gt-1gb/ Share on other sites
maximilian298453
Kept digging and found it in the 10.6.1 compatible hardware wiki: DSDT modification + <key>GraphicsEnabler</key><string>y</string> The second part I understand, but the first is a bit vague for me (didn't help my searches either). Does this mean anything to anybody? Thank you.
