nath93
hi everyone! i tried to install ideneb on my desktop pc with bios s1/s3 ide/ahci and so on so nearly every configuration possible but it always showed me up a little "no way" sign after about 5 minutes. -v installation said: error loading firewire sth... and then waiting for root device and stopped (added pic as an attachment). ipc retourned me a kernel error in the best case, worst was automatic reboot before entering installation. my setup: gigabyte 770ta-ud3 amd phenom II 955 (overclocked @ 3.6ghz) ati hd5770 4gig kingston ram seagate barracuda 500gb it already took me a 3 days of clicking through tuts, forum posts etc but i havent found anything helpfull yet so you are my last hope. if there is already a theme similar to mine discussed in the forum please excuse mea culpa and post a link. im happy about every sort of feedback and links to tutorials, workarounds etc.! greetings nath Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/249753-ipc-and-ideneb-gigabyte-770ta-ud3-installation-problem/ Share on other sites
