deathsonic18
Hey Guys, I was looking around and around the forum trying to see how I can fix this problem :S Basicly I followed the amazing guide by digital_dreamer on : Guide now I got a intel i7, DX58SO Motherboard, 6 GB RAM and Sapphire HD 5870. So I installed iAtkos 5i on 1 HDD (lets give it a name: HDD1), and from there I setup the bootloader etc etc on the other HDD (lets give it a name: HDD2). now, when I come to boot up the HDD2, it comes up and the bootloader loads(then it shows all the kext's loading up), then a blank screen appears saying: Check signal cable, now if I boot up iAtkos 5i from the BOOTLOADER of HDD2 the same thing happens. If I boot up iAtkos 5i from the BOOTLOADER from HDD1. It work's fine. (to install iAtkos 5i, I used this Guide : Guide 2. Thanks in Advance for any help!, I really need it, i'm still really new to this >.< Best Regards deathsonic18 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/249686-snow-lepoard-and-hd-5870/ Share on other sites
Dellxpsowner
Hello, I thought 'check signal cable' means that you are trying to boot from network. So can you post the log from the previous screen, where all the kexts are written? deathsonic18
The problem is that, when the kernels start's up, they go down to the bottom of the screen, then the screen refresh's So in all there are about 8 different screens... are they saved in a log somewhere ?
