iPixel Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Hello, I have a very annoying issue with SL on my laptop. I get "Still waiting for root device" around 90% of the time, unless I boot with -x (then it only appears around 20% of the time). I guess this is related to my motherboard's chipset which has an AMD SB800 (which is relatively recent). It's been over a month I've been trying to solve this issue, and now I'm trying to look for some kext. However, I just can't seem to find a kext for that chipset... Any ideas are welcome!
