mykrowyre Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I failed getting OSX86 to boot the installer on my asus laptop. I'm not sure if it's because the HD is on secondary master or if it's because it doesnt like my dvd-rom (or both). But, if I partition my drive and DD an osx image onto a 2nd partition and set my bootloader to boot from that partition, is there a chance OSX will play nice? Will OSX boot from a hard drive installed on the secondary IDE controller?
