jamone Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 Hello, I have successfully installed Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) on an Intel based computer; Intel Core 2 DUO CPU E7500 2.93GHz. The problem is that it the Mac OS is not recognizing the built in PCI controller, this controller is an Atheros AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller. When I use the System Profiler and click on the PCI Card option, it states "No PCI Cards Installed on this computer". A similar message appears when I click on the Ethernet Card option. I have installed the Atheros kernel extension I found on this site, but still no joy. Can anyone please suggest a solution to this, as I cannot get online with the computer in its current state.
