[HOW TO] Working HD5570 for Snow Leopard

Hi, for people who are having problems installing HD5570 on Snow Leopard:

 

1. Download the All_in_one.rar from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=245681

2. Install ATI Chameleon bootloader for Radeon HD5000 (inside All_in_one folder)

3. After installing boot loader.. rename the ROM file to 1002_68d9.rom

4. place the ROM file on the Extra folder located at your Macintosh HD(after installing boot loader) and ATI5000injector.kext to extensions located at the extra folder and replace the boot file from the Macintosh HD folder

5. Install Atiframebuffer.kext and ATY_init.kext to MacintoshHD/System/Library/Extensions (ATI5000Controller don’t need)

6. Edit com.apple.boot.plist(go to terminal to type "sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist" (this will give permisson to save the boot.plist)

8. Download and install Mac OSX 10.6.4 update (combo is only for 10.6.2 and under)

9. Reboot and download and install Snow Leopard Graphics Update 1.0

10. If Kernel Panic occurs try booting -x safe mode or use HFS+ for windows and remove ATI5000.kext and "ALL" ATIx3000.kexts

11. Do a repair permission

13. install 10.6.6 and "DO NOT REBOOT"

14. Open [url=&quot;http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/&quot;]#####[/url] and look for IOUSBROLLBACK (should be on the drivers section)

15. Reboot if u encounter a black screen...(read down here)

16. Your Done! (or maybe ur stuck on something)

For people who encounter a black screen(not kernel panic, like monitor "no signal" or "monitor going to sleep" go to boot.plist and change the AtiFb to "Eulemur" (can be done on HFS+ on windows)

Salut, pour les personnes qui ont des problèmes pour installer HD5570 sur Snow Leopard:

2. Installez ATI Radeon Chameleon bootloader pour les HD5000 (à l'intérieur dossier All_in_one)

 

3. Après l'installation du chargeur de démarrage .. renommez le fichier ROM à 1002_68d9.rom

4. placer le fichier ROM sur le dossier Extra situé à votre Macintosh HD (après l'installation du chargeur de démarrage) et aux extensions ATI5000injector.kext situé dans le dossier extra et remplacer le fichier de démarrage à partir du dossier Macintosh HD

5. Installez Atiframebuffer.kext et ATY_init.kext à MacintoshHD / System / Library / Extensions (ATI5000Controller n'avez pas besoin)

6. Modifier com.apple.boot.plist (aller à la borne de type «sudo / Applications / TextEdit.app / Contents / MacOS / TextEdit / Library / Preferences / SystemConfiguration / com.apple.Boot.plist" (cela donne Permission pour sauver l'boot.plist)

7.Je ne sais pas comment résoudre ce problème à cause de votre langue, mais u peut trouver comment résoudre ce problème

9. Reboot et télécharger et installer Snow Leopard Graphics Update 1.0

10. Si Kernel Panic se produit essayez de démarrer-x HFS mode sans échec ou utiliser + pour Windows et supprimer ATI5000.kext et "ALL" ATIx3000.kexts

11. Faites une autorisation de réparation

13. installer 10.6.6 et "ne pas redémarrer"

15. Redémarrez si u rencontrez un écran noir ... (lire ici)

16. Votre Fait! (ou peut-être ur coincé sur quelque chose)

Pour les personnes qui rencontrent un écran noir (kernel panic pas, comme un moniteur "aucun signal"ou "moniteur d'aller dormir" aller à boot.plist et changer le AtiFb à Eulemur "(peut être fait sur HFS + sous windows)

I follow your steps, and i encounter a black screen, when i go to edit my com.Apple.Boot.plist, i have:

when i save and reboot, the black screen appears another time!

I was installing mac, but I'm stuck at step 8.

I booted in-x mode, but nothing, it hangs. I booted in-v-x mode, and this is the result:

 

What can I do?

ps: I just finished installing snow leopard just follow the guide, nothing that does not Insall driving, but in step 4 does not know what to replace, because there is already ati5000injector.kext.
