Rebound
There are dozens of $9.99 "Tenda" model W311U USB 802.11n adapters at Microcenter for $9.99. It comes with a Mac OSX driver, but you can download a newer one, dated 15 February, 2011, from Ralink's website: http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=3 Download the driver fro the RT2870: USB(RT2870 /RT2770 /RT307X /RT2070 /RT3572) My computer didn't recognize it at first, but when I removed it and re-inserted it into another USB port, it came up and worked fine. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.6 on a Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H motherboard. EDIT: Sad to say, it acts like you'd expect a $9.99 WiFi adapter to work -- poorly. It connects, then forgets its connection, then works for a while... you get the idea. Might work better for you, but in my environment (several users switching back and forth) it works poorly. I gave up and bought an AirPort Express. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/249342-tenda-80211n-usb-wosx-driver-999/ Share on other sites
