cavzll Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Hey guys, i got a dell laptop, enabled the virtualization in bios. i got an imac snow leopard dvd (i guess it's like OEM in Windows, cause it's a grey one and works for my iMac hardware)... well, i booted my virtual mashine with darwin.iso and came into the installation with my os x dvd. but then a window pop's up with: os X cannot install, if u have time mashine backups.. bla bla bla.. what can i do now? OEM Snow Leopard disc will not work, you need to purchase a retail DVD if you want to install on a hackintosh or VMWare...
