Issues installing with any method on a Intel HM55 chipset based machine

i just got a laptop because it has a nvidia gt330m, which is supported even with cuda drivers from nvidia...

that said..

i'm having SERIOUS issues with installing this system:

a retail dvd using ##### or so, will just reboot after a glimpse of gray screen, or with -v it says something about no dsdt and dies

using iatkos s3v2 i get the same symptoms, except when booting using mach_modbin [an older Pentium/AMD kernel]

now, what surprises me about this, is my chipset and processor:

i've got what appears to be an Intel® Core™ i3 Processor 350 M and a Intel HM55 chipset.

now, in my various fiddlings, i've tried replacing the installed vanilla kernel with the modbin one on the iatkos dvd, and i don't get the immediate reboot anymore, but in turn it hangs on a chipset relatex kext [can't remember which one off the top of my head now].

so, after doing some research, i found out that apparentley my chipset is supported only by 10.6.4+

and in fact, if i radically copy my extensions folder from my 10.6.6 hackintosh and place it in the freshly installed one, it sort of boots, but then either hangs on "waiting for dsdt" forever, or if booted using -v -k -F -x it fails on appleRTC kext.

so, my question actually IS:

how do i update a non-bootable system which is at 10.6.3 to 10.6.4+ ?

Any other suggestions?

I'm not scared of the terminal or so, i'm just out of ideas....
