oldgit9
i too had a lot of trouble getting an os x to work on my toshiba a110-276. but i got there in the end with iATKOS_V7. try the following :- 1. during boot up, press F8 2. a screen with a bugged eyed iguana should appear. type in the following "-v" (without the quotations) and press enter. 3. you should then see a load of text on the screen. if all goes well, you should then see a screen asking to select a language. if you see this screen, your half way there. if the text on the screen hangs, then there is a problem with the install. and you should be able to see what was the last thing that was loaded that caused the error and the kernal panic. take a note of what caused the panic and search the forum for a possible solution. try the above on different distro's. as i tried two os x 10.6 and three 10.5 distro's, only to find the iATKOS_V7 to work for me. even then, it was a trial and error process to get it to work. the only thing that doesnt work on my laptop now, is my built in wifi card. but im using a wifi pci card instead.
