Okay basically I have JaS 10.4.6 on my Centrino laptop, I have Intel GMA915 working perfect, a mini PCI atheros wireless card working great - but I just can't seem to get the audio working.

I've followed all the tutorials I can find on this site and I've been crawling through forum posts for a couple of days before I decided to give up and post for help

My audio card is a RealTek high definition card with HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0260&SUBSYS_02600000&REV_1004 hardware location, I read that as 10ec vendor and 0260 device - 0x10ec0260

I also read somewhere that the HD audio bus location was needed, I got that as vendor - 8086 and device - 2688.

I've tried playing with AppleHD.kext AppleAzaliaAudio.kext, AppleAC97.kext and I've repaired them from the ISO with Pacifist each time before I edited them.

What could be the problem? Is my audio card actually supported?

Thanks for any reponces
