Raptor K
After installed OSX86 hackintosh, CMOS clock resets every time when Mac restarts. Anybody has similar problem? JoSe7en
when you make a custom dsdt you can indeed perform the cmos fix. I did so with my laptop, but with a pc I have no clue. I do have the one hour difference when booting between win7 and osx but I doubt that's what you're talking about. Raptor K
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=235523 I'll try DSDT Auto-Patcher . Luckily, my board is on the list . However, I find the notice that I should remove the com.apple.Boot.plist . Is it save to do so and reboot ? will I stuck on reboot ? Raptor K
I tried DSDT Auto-Patcher . The shutdown-becomes-reboot problem is gone, but the clock in PC is still wrong. Strange. Let me clarify what I have done: 1. Use DSDT Auto-Patcher 2. Select my mobo : Intel DH55HC 3. Apply 4. A DSDT.aml is generated on desktop 5. I put it on root folder (anything I missed?) Do I need to do something to enable the use of DSDT.aml ? Do I need to re-install Chamelon so that it can apply the latest DSDT.aml ? mulcyber
After installed OSX86 hackintosh, CMOS clock resets every time when Mac restarts. Anybody has similar problem? My motherboard is Intel DH55HC . It's possible this is a hardware problem. Your computer has a cmos battery which is silverish and shaped like a coin. They are cheap and easy to replace in a desktop. Usually, this battery needs to be replaced when the computer grows old, but not always. If you have two OS, they can report different times, and that is a software problem, but that has different words to describe it, not the words that you used in the Subject line.
