erginuy Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 I tried snow leo in virtualbox and failed, tried ideneb from boot and Apple logo got frozen with the spinner going, I just want to get some recommendations as to what distro/route should I take to get it to work. Here is the machine: Operating System Windows 7 Ultimate Media Center Edition (x64) Video Adapter ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series (Microsoft CorporatiATI Display Adapter (512 MB) Asus P5Q mobo Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 @3.16 Ghz System Memory 4096 MB Disk Drive SAMSUNG HD103UJ ATA Device (931 GB, IDE) Disk Drive ST3500418AS ATA Device (465 GB, IDE) Optical Drive TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223L ATA Device Network Adapter Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller(NDIS6.20) All help appreciated and recommendations will be tried. Different, remember virtualbox is Virtualisation. open "System Profiler" you will find most probably that the CPU, video, audio, etc is different to the physical chips in your system.
