FransNetwork Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Hi all I want to post my experience with this motherbroad My system specs 24inch widescreen HD hdmi slot 1080p with freeview & iPhone & iPod Dock (Got this for around £80.00 from tesco UK) Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.00GHz 631 (This CPU works with 32 Bits & 64 bits) 2GB DDR 667 RAM 250GB SATA & IDE 80GB 256MB ATi Radeon X1500 Graphics Card PCI Express X16 IDE SH-W162C CD/RW/DVD-RW dual layer 8.7 GB single sided double layer DVD drive Download the following for 10.6.6 but not needed if you wonna be on 10.6.2 kext helper (optional as im working on updating to 10.6.6) combo update 10.6.6 (optional yet again read ^^^) IOATAFamily.kext (optional yet again read ^^^) Installation ( I did this with a IDE DVD-RW and i have tryed both SATA and IDE hard drives and both work great. But obviously SATA drives will work faster. 1] Boot into the DVD drive 2] Format the partition you'll install Mac in format with Mac OS JURNALED 3] customized the installation with the following additions: Mac_OS_X_10.6.2 Chameleon RC3_PCEFI_10.5 legacy_kernel_10.2.0 graphic enabler appleazilaAudio rtl8169 & rt8139 (both work ONLY SELECT ONE!!!!!) applertc ioatafamily_fix smbiosresolver x11 rosetta quicktime 7 4) Enjpy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
