insanelyDim
Hello, I'm currently running on Dell XPS m1530 with Snow Leopard 10.6.5 since a few months. Everything works quiet well but I just realize that CPU is blocked at 600 Mhz when I use my laptop on battery. I use VoodooPowerMini to get speedstep working. I don't know how I can resolve this problem ? Thank you, Dim Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/248923-laptop-on-battery-stucks-at-600-mhz/ Share on other sites
JoSe7en
Hi, I'm having the exact same "problem" with my dell inspiron 1720. Created a dsdt for any cpu following this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...80#entry1296514 The fact it's speedstepping down when you pull the power cord is great (more battery time), but when I plug it back in it stays at 800mhz with me. Haven't figured out how to solve this. Also made a custom DSDT with my own ACPI tables, but still the same problem. I too would be grateful to know how this problem can be solved.
