Ok Guys, as noone yet has tried to install OSX on this Beast, I thought why not.

First of all the specs as I guess there are other Vaios that have similar Specs.

CPU: Intel Core i7 Q740

RAM: 8GB Ram

GPU: nVidia GeForce GT425M with 1024 MB VRAM (1GB)

WIFI: Atheros AR9287

LAN: Marvell Yukon 88E8057

Res: 1920x1080

I think thats Pretty much the most important stuff so lets start!

I've fired up the iAtkos disk with the flags "cpus=8 busratio=13" (for 8 cores and the 740q)

After a few seconds the setup was ready, I selected German, formated a partition and hit continue some times - just the normal procedure.

Now as we are at the Packages the thing was a bit tricky.

I've selected pretty much everything that seemed to make sense (will list in a few)

I guess that I have misselected something here as the main problem is that this nice beast does not boot. It could've been the Chipset as I dont know which one is in this laptop

As I do not want to install a bootloader at this point, i have disselected the bootloader, but specified some boot stuff like the legacy boot.

now all packages according to the setup log:

com.uphuck.pkg.

voodoosdhc

ahci

applehda1056

Marvell88e8056 (could work on the 88e8057)

Marvell88e8001

MacFusecoreevospeedstep

voodoorootsync

nvenabler

fakesmc

ntfs3g

voodoops2

voodoobattery

voodoohda

sleep

thermal

evoreeboot

Anyway, this thread will be updated as soon as I have made some progress

if possible boot -v and post one photo here

For test if this work use only 4G of the RAM,

try this boot flag: -x -v busratio=13 Graphics Mode=640x480x32@90 GraphicsEnabler=NO cpus=1 rd=diskxsy

i.e diskxsy put your disk and partition, and if this not work, boot -s

mout -uw /

rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/Extensions.mkext

diskutil repairPermissions /

exit

reboot

Good luck!!!!
