Hazard 10.6.2 SL - Boot only in Safe Mode possible

Hey guys,

 

first of all I'm new to the hackintosh scene but really appreciate all the work you guys have done so far. Thank you!

The Hazard 10.6.2 Server Client distro was the first one I could install (except iAtkos v7 but I wanted SL ) and after some days of trial and error this really meant a lot to me. (I only installied Client, not server)

 

But I'm still facing many problems:

 

NO matter which boot flags I use (busratio="x", arch=i386, -force64, cpu="x" etc etc.), I can not manage to boot SL. Sometimes I get a "double panic" and my system just hangs, sometimes there are different errors but the system immediately restarts so I can not read what exactely does not work.

 

However, I can boot up in safe mode using -x, but my USB drives are not recognized.I'm getting really frustrated with this as I dont even have internet access because I can't install my LAN driver because my usb drive does not work.

 

What can I do? I can't take a photo of the actual error. How do I access the log files and copy them to another computer so I can post them here?

OR even better: Do you have any idea what causes these double panics or what I can do in SL itself in safe mode to get it working without -x ?

 

My system:

 

AMD X3 440

MSI 770-G45

WD SATA Drive (GUID formatted)

Radeon 4850 graphics card

4GB DDR3 RAM

Ok guys I got USB working though I dont know how but it works now.

 

I installed my LAN driver and now have access to the internet.

 

I was even able to get rid of the double panics when not booting in safe mode.

I added the Graphics Enabler string to my boot.plist and edited the dev-id in ATI4800Controller.kext

That solved the double panics.

 

But now I got a different problem: My SL now boots in normal mode (only busratio=20 -v flags)

but as soon as SL finishes the command line part of booting I get the SL background picture and can

also see and move my mouse, but I can't enter the actual OS.

 

What Can I do?

Okay, now I'm getting seriously pissed..

I managed to get my whole system running and even update to 10.6.6 without problems, but my bootloader only supports vesa resolutions so my screen looked a little blurry. I found a fix for this which includes replacing the "boot" file which doesnt work.

 

Now I can't get my system running, not even in safe mode. Is there any way I can restore the original file or repair my SL installation without having to struggle with all those drivers etc. again? I have a "Pirate EFI X v0.3" DVD - maybe I can do sth. with that?
