Hi everyone,

I've tried to install ati sapphire hd 5750 driver for hackintosh but to no success....

My hardware:

MBO ASUS P7P55D-E LX

CPU INTEL CORE I7 870

ATI SAPP.HD 5750 1GB

My installation method:

I just booted and installed OSx with iatkos s3 v2(boot mode: busratio=22) and everything works great. The only problem is with graphics since i can't change resolution (1024x768). My system version is 10.6.3, i can upgrade to 10.6.6, will work ok (apart from graphics ofc...).

I tried installing ATY_INIT.kext but nothing changed. I found some solutions, but i guess i'm doing something wrong. I tried to copy ATI5000Controller.kext with all those other files from netkas, but then i can't start the system, it just doesn't finish startup (some sort of infinite loop with that circle thingy on startup doing its stuff indefinately).

Considering graphics, these are informations in my system profiler:

Display:

Type: GPU

Bus: PCIe

PCIe Lane Width: x8

VRAM (Total): 256 MB

Vendor: ATI (0x1002)

Device ID: 0x68be

Revision ID: 0x0000

Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1024 x 768

Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

If anyone has time to guide me to properly setup driver for this video card please reply and save me from misery....As you get the idea, i'm new in max osx world.

Thanks in advance,

Tuljbez
