ThugEsquire Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 I was trying to make DisplayPort work for the longest time and eventually I got DisplayPort to work properly as long as it's the only display connected. If I hook up any other display (I've tested both DVI ports) then, using the Vervet frame buffer, usually both screens come up black after the bootloader. In order to successfully boot into dual displays I had to switch my DisplayPort cable to a dual-link DVI cable, after which it worked as expected. I'd like to do further testing but I'm not sure how to look up subsystem IDs because I don't know how to get/install/use lspci. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
