OrokuSaki
Okay. 1. Install IAtkos 10.6.3 2. During the Setup I chose Chameleon RC5 as my bootloader, among other things like JMicron IDE and AHCI. 3. Install 4. Boot into Single User mode -v -x -s 5. Edit /System/Library/Extensions/ATI1900Controller.kext/Contents/Info.plist 6. Change "Name" to "PCI" right above where it says 7249,1002 or similar and save 7. run kextcache -system-caches 8. reboot 9. Use these boot flags? -v arch=i386 platform=X86PC acpi=off "Graphics Mode"="1680x1050x32@60" "GraphicsEnabler"="Yes" PCIRootUID=1 And you should have resolution changing, quartz, everything... If you have a different ATI Card like ATI X1950, etc.. you will have to try something different, but I was crashing on ATI1900Controller.kext and all I had to do was change the Name to PCI in Info.Plist right above where its calling the hardware and device id.. Mine is 1002 and 7249 The first time you boot you may need to throw in a -f YAY! He found out that changing name to pci gave him resolution changing. For me, it gave me the ability to have a gui outside of single user mode... I was just crashing without changing that.
