srgmcgyver Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 so i have two distros that i am trying to install either on onto a amd quad core at 2.6ghz on a MSI 785gtm-e45 mobo with a 5770 graphics card. i put either on of the disks in and i get to the point where it asks to press any key or f8 so i press a key and it pauses for a second then my computer restarts...i've tried it on this computer and a amd duraron the same thing happens but when i try on an old old dell latatude it boots up to the installer...and help is appreciated thanks in advance!
